It's Monday, What Are You Reading?

This is a weekly meme now hosted by Kathryn @ Book Date. You should join in, too!
Here's what I'm reading this week:
Just Finished:

LOVED IT. Ordered the whole trilogy for myself (I'd borrowed this from a friend). Can't wait to read Book 2! Review will post in the near future.
Currently Reading:

Having trouble getting into this one, sadly. Convince me that it's worth it?

Got this one from NetGalley. LOVING IT!

What are you reading this week??
I just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses. Trust me, stick with it. It took me a bit to get into it, but once I did...WOW. I've been meaning to read A Discovery of Witches for SO long. I have all the books in the series, too. Have a great week, happy reading!

Thank you for your input!!! I will stick with it.
DeleteA Discovery of Witches is AMAZING! It's a long book but completely worth it!
"Losing the Light" looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! I took 4 years of French in school and the book works in a lot of French, so it's fun to read!
DeleteI think if you stick with ACOTAR, you'll enjoy it. It's a bit slow to start. Those aren't my typical type of book, and I ended up like it a lot. Maybe give it a little more time...
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad to see you're enjoying Losing the Light! I received an ARC and am excited to read it now!
I've heard that from several people, so I'm going to stick with it!!
DeleteLosing the Light is fantastic! I took four years of French in school so it's totally in my interest area!
I love when you can go right from one book to the next one in the series! I hope you enjoy Shadow of Night!
ReplyDeleteI CAN'T WAIT to start it! My thriftbooks shipment can't get here soon enough!!!!
DeleteI was anxiously waiting to see what you thought of "A Discovery of Witches." I looooved the series! Book two is really fun because it includes time travel! I just saw on Deborah Harkness's Facebook page that things are in motion to make a TV show/miniseries based on the books. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI'm also curious to see if you stick with "A Court of Thorns and Roses." I feel like I probably won't love it (well-hyped YA books usually fall flat for me) but I keep seeing Sarah J. Mass everywhere and have been thinking about giving her a try. (Same goes for "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" by Laini Taylor.)
I can't even put into words how much I loved Witches!! Oh my goodness. Itching to dive into the second one. A TV show/miniseries WOULD BE AWESOME! Oh my goodness!!!
DeleteI'm going to stick with ACOTAR--so many people have suggested I keep going. I'll definitely post a review on the blog!
I know of these books but have not read any of them.
ReplyDeleteI hope your week has been good.
