Top Ten Bookish Resolutions/Goals

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This Week's Topic:
Bookish Resolutions/Goals

I don't have 10, but here's what I do have! Gonna add some blogging ones too.
1. Not be so concerned with how many books I read. I set the bar at 60 this year for my goodreads goal--something I know I can attain. When I was trying to read more (100+) it was just stressing me  out, which is not the point.

2. Read the 12 picks of Reese Witherspoon's book club. Breanne and I are doing this one together!

3. In the words of Andi, #readmyowndamnbooks :) I have a whole bunch of books I own but haven't read (don't we all?)

4. Intentionally make time for reading. In the same way that yoga helps me mentally, reading does the same. When life gets busy I need to make time to read to help me relax.


5. Blog more regularly. I was a bit of a slacker in 2017. I was super busy in 2017 though and 2018 is looking to be more low key.

6. Connect with other bloggers--comment on other blogs. I've started actively using Bloglovin more to help me keep up! So many amazing blogs out there.

7. Catch up on my NetGalley reviews. I'm at 86% right now but I want it higher.

8. Visit the library regularly. Not something I need to improve on (I'm always there!!) but always a goal.

9. Listen to more audiobooks. I work out a lot so it's the perfect time! Right now I listen to a lot of podcasts. 

10. Read some of these books from last's week's TTT. There's some good stuff on that list!

  2. Such a great list! I'm trying not to worry about the number of books I read this year too. My goal last year was 100 and I flopped so hard. I kept worrying about the goal and if I was on schedule etc. This year my goal is 12 books and whatever I end up with at the end of the year is 100% fine <3

  3. I love that listening to more audiobooks while working out is one of your goals. I go to the gym as well, but I tend to head to the stationary bike and pull a book out. I get a lot of reading done that way, but not very much exercising ; ) Well,to be fair, I do get a pretty good leg work out! Good luck meeting your goals!

  4. These are all great goals. I want to listen to more audio books too, and get more caught up with my NetGalley reviews. I think making time to read us a great goal as well. I am trying to do that too. Good luck with your goals!
