May TBR

Happy May! How are you all doing? May is usually my favorite month--the weather is beautiful, there are lots of spring flowers, and my wedding anniversary is May 28! This year I'm a bit sad--due to the pandemic, we had to cancel our Hawaii trip for our anniversary--but I'm so happy that I have books as a distraction.  Bout of Books is coming up in a couple weeks too, and I'm super excited about that!!  I'm also excited about a buddy read organized by Erica on Instagram--follow her if you aren't already!! We are reading The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager. There is a great group of bostagrammers on this buddy read and I am SO excited to read and connect with these awesome humans!

2020 has been such a crazy year but one amazing thing about it is that the 2020 new releases this year are SO AMAZING!! Anyone else noticing that? I keep reading books and think "This is going to be one of my favorites of 2020!" with practically every book.

Here's is what's on my radar for May. Most of these are Book of the Month books I either already have or are in my May box, NetGalley ARC's or books on the way to me from Powell's Books. I'm sure this will evolve as the month goes on, but boy am I excited about these reads!!!

  1. I loved The Last Time I Lied! Riley Sager writes really solid standalone thrillers. I've got Pretty Things on my list too. I'm so thankful that all of these awesome books are releasing to keep us all occupied.

We had to cancel out trip to the Caribbean in a couple weeks too. I hope you both have a fantastic anniversary anyway!

  2. I should have Summer Deal coming my way but the publisher always forgets to send me the book so we'll see lol

This is my FAVORITE time of year so I'm bummed that I can't start my new butterfly garden.

    Happy anniversary!!
