Top Ten Hyped Books I've Never Read
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Hyped Books I've Never Read. I do have a few of these! Here they are, in no particular order:

Thinking about reading Life of Pi in the near future. Any others I shouldn't miss?
Happy Reading!
Oh man, you have quite the list! Not gonna lie- most of these are on my list, as well. Looks like we might need to step up our game :)
ReplyDeleteI know! When I was writing this post I felt it should be titled "Top Ten Books I'm Embarrassed Not to Have Read Yet" Lol!
DeleteI highly recommend The Host!! Takes awhile to get into it, but it's worth pushing through. Loved it!
ReplyDeleteI've seen the movie (shame on me for not reading the book first!). I need to read it!!
DeleteI loved Outlander! The Host was actually a very good book. It starts a little slow but by the end it had me in tears. I've tried to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo a few times, but I just can't do it. So boring. I'll never read any of the Fifty Shades books. I read One Hundred Years of Solitude a long time ago and it was fantastic.

Thanks for the recommendations!
DeleteOrphan Train has been on my TBR list for forever! I may never get to it lol.

We have some similar choices! But I definitely think "Life of Pi" is a MUST read and "Orphan Train" was an easy read. Great list, though :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to read Life of Pi for book bingo!
DeleteI recommend "Outlander" and "The Host"! I also read and enjoyed "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" as well as "The Girl Who Played With Fire," but I gave up on the third book. I just couldn't get into it. The Swedish movies are fantastic, though, if you don't mind subtitles. I'm assuming you've read the first Fifty Shades book? I thought "Fifty Shades Darker" was the best of the three, though if you skip the the rest of the trilogy you're not missing anything life-changing. I read "The Kite Runner" a long time ago and remember enjoying it; I actually have Khaled Hosseini's newest book on my TTT list this week!
ReplyDeleteThe only book I have read on your list is The Host. It took me two attempts to read this one before I actually got in to it! It was slow at first, but I ended up loving it!
ReplyDeleteI've read three on this list but there are some I will never read. Love the Outlander series, enjoyed Orphan Train on audio and have Big Little Lies on my bookshelf. Oops that makes two I have read!
ReplyDeleteI'll always vouch for Game of Thrones, Outlander, and The Kite Runner. Great books! I read The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I enjoyed it, but it's probably not for everyone due to the subject matter. In fact, I liked the sequels a lot more. The final book in the trilogy is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI've read five of these. Life of Pi and Outlander would be my votes for you to read. Life of Pi for its ending. Outlander is just a great action/romance combo...loving it.
