Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.
This Week's Topic:
Authors Who Have a Fun Social Media Presence
What a FUN topic! I really enjoy connecting with authors on social media, especially Instagram, but also Facebook. Here are some authors I love to connect with on social media! All links are to the authors' website, where you can find all their social links pretty easily.
I love all of her books, and have been part of her "street team" The Tiki Lounge, for awhile now! Ive also been lucky enough to be on her early readers team for both her 2019 novel (Last Summer) and her 2020 novel (Side Trip). Kerry herself will send me handwritten cards and notes as well thanking me for my support of her books.
I've been a fan of Jamie for a long time, and have really enjoyed connecting with her on Instagram! Her books are fantastic, and she always has fun pictures to share on her feed. She's always so appreciative when I share any bookish love for any of her novels, and has even reached out to me specifically regarding an ARC of her newest release. She really cares about her readers!
I fell in love with her writing immediately after reading How to Walk Away, and then again after Things You Save in a Fire. I'm reading Happiness for Beginners now. I really enjoy following her on Instagram!
I love Liz and Lisa!! What's so fun about following them on social media is that htey're best friends--so you get to follow along with all their BFF adventures, bookish and otherwise! They also just launched a podcast--We Fight So You Don't Have To. Follow this dynamic duo ASAP!
5. Jill Shalvis
She posts pictures of her dogs! Enough said :) Also, pictures of Lake Tahoe! I've really been enjoying her Wildstone series lately.
6. Allie Larkin
She also posts lots of dog pictures and stories. Love! Her books also feature dogs and are fantastic! I really loved Swimming for Sunlight!
Elin has recently started cooking in her Instagram stories and I love it! I've really loved her latest releases (Summer of '69 and the Paradise series) so I'm super excited for her 2020 releases, 28 Summers and Troubles in Paradise, the last book in the Paradise series.
8. Cathy Lamb
A fellow Oregonian, Cathy Lamb is one of my favorite authors! She's very active on Facebook. and her trademark humor comes out in her posts as well!
Her posts are just as great as her books! She is witty and funny, in her posts, and I love being a part of her Colleen Hoover's CoHorts" group on Facebook!
Who are some of your favorite authors to follow? Have a great week!
